Unter anderem als Gabriel von Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus und Feri in der Csárdásfürstin ist Günter Neumann in der Spielzeit 2004/05 an der Komischen Oper Berlin zu erleben.

After first engagements in Potsdam and Weimar, Günter Neumann came in 1969 to the Komische Oper Berlin and became Felsenstein' s Don José. Since then he created 44 roles and appeared on average 84 times a year on this stage, which was his artistic home. He identified completely with its aims, the Realistic Music Theatre. Guest performances took him to all important opera houses. He participated in numerous LP- , Radio and TV-productions. His most outstanding roles were Tannhäuser in Hamburg and Vienna as well as Herodes in Amsterdam, Cologne and Hamburg and Aaron in Dresden and Berlin. Recently Günter Neumann devotes only to the character mode. In 2003 he made his debut as director.
Günter Neumann is seen amongst others as Gabriel von Eisenstein in The Bat and Feri in the Gipsy Princess in the 2004/05 season at the Komische Oper Berlin.
