Bei Holy Trinity geht es nicht so sehr um die Geschichte: Eine Domina, die zu den Toten sprechen kann, nachdem sie ein Raumspray zur spirituellen Reinigung geschnüffelt hat. Bald beeinflusst diese „Gabe“ ihr komplettes Leben, sowohl beruflich als auch privat mit ihrem gefügigen Partner – Theo Germaine aus The Politician.
Vielmehr geht es um einen durch und durch queeren Ansatz, wie ihn schon John Waters und Bruce LaBruce vorgemacht haben, nur mit mehr Sorgfalt auf die Pronomen. Die Protagonist*innen existieren in einer umgekehrten Fantasiewelt, in der alternative Kultur und Sexualität die Norm und Normalität nirgendwo zu finden ist. Es geht um den ultimativen Rausch in dem sex-, kink- und misfits-positiven Kosmos der Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit. Holy Trinity ist unser feel-good-all-around-queer Film. Gänzlich entstanden mit und in der queeren Community Chicagos. Finanziert durch ein Kickstarter-Projekt.

Holy Trinity is not so much about the story: a dominatrix who can speak to the dead after sniffing a room spray for spiritual cleansing. Soon, this “gift” affects her entire life, both professionally and privately with her sub-partner-Theo Germaine from The Politician.
Rather, Holy Trinity is about a thoroughly queer approach, similar to John Waters and Bruce LaBruce, but with more care for the pronouns. The protagonists exist in an inverted fantasy world in which alternative culture and sexuality is the norm and normality is nowhere to be found. It is about the ultimate intoxication in the sex-, kink- and misfit-positive cosmos of the Holy Trinity. Entirely made with and in the queer community of Chicago, financed by a Kickstarter project, Holy Trinity is our feel-good- all-around-queer film.
