Die Liaison versteht sich als ein Klanggeflecht, das die individuellen Stimmen der drei Musiker zu Athmosphären verdichtet, Geschichten zu erzählen vermag und mittels der Musik Bilder fast greifbar in die Luft malen kann. Live entstehen immer wieder neue zauberhafte Momente von Klangmalerei, die schillernd und fast so zerbrechlich wie Seifenblasen durch Raum und Zeit schweben.

LiaisonTonique widmet sich aktuell der Erstellung eines neuen Repertoires. Die erprobte langjährige Zusammenarbeit dreht sich hauptsächlich um Kompositionen, die aus der Feder der Pianistin Laia Genc und des Schlagzeugers Jens Düppe stammen. Das Trio findet seine Inspirationen im modernen Jazz sowie der großen Tradition dieses Formates, bedient sich Anleihen aus der Neuen Musik, dem Pop und der elektronischen Musik. All diese musikalischen Aspekte werden zu einem rein analog überzeugendem Konzerterlebnis gewoben: Von lyrisch modernen Klaviertriopassagen über impulsiv groovende Songs und einem spielerischen Umgang mit freier Improvisation reizen die drei Musiker die Königsdisziplin des Jazzpianotrios aus. Dabei wird vor allem Wert auf die ständige Interaktion, die unmittelbare Spielfreude und den Reiz des immer Neuen gelegt. Mit viel Charme, einem erfrischend lebendigen Musizieren und dem nötigen Augenzwinkern vermag es die LiaisonTonique die Ohren und Herzen ihrer Zuhörer zu verzaubern.

LiaisonTonique is currently devoting itself to the creation of a new repertoire. The tried and tested collaboration of many years revolves mainly around compositions penned by pianist Laia Genc and drummer Jens Düppe. The trio finds its inspiration in modern jazz as well as the great tradition of this format, borrows from new music, pop and electronic music. All these musical aspects are woven into a purely analogue convincing concert experience: From lyrical modern piano trio passages to impulsively grooving songs and a playful approach to free improvisation, the three musicians exhaust the supreme discipline of the jazz piano trio. The main emphasis is on constant interaction, the immediate joy of playing and the attraction of always being new.
