Der in Köln geborene Schlagzeuger Jakob Görris entdeckte seine Leidenschaft für die Musik und das Schlagzeugspielen bereits in jungen Jahren. 2019 begann er sein Studium an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Dort erhielt er Unterricht von Prof. Michael Küttner, Prof. Jonas Burgwinkel und Prof. Robert Landfermann. Außerdem hat Jakob für zwei Semester an der Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa unter anderem bei Bruno Pedroso, Nelson Cascais und Desidério Lázaro studiert. Diese beiden Umfelder haben ihn stark geprägt, und er bündelt nun diese Erfahrungen für sein Bachelorkonzert.
Das Konzert wird aus zwei Teilen bestehen, wobei der erste Teil die Kölner Szene repräsentieren und den Fokus auf Improvisation und das freie Spiel setzen wird. Die zweite Besetzung wird aus Musiker*innen der Lisabonner Szene bestehen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf eigenen Kompositionen und Stücken, die sie in dieser Besetzung auch in Lissabon schon gespielt und geprägt haben.

Die Konzerte im LOFT beginnen in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.
Ausnahmen - zB an Sonntagen - sind möglich.

Born in Cologne, percussionist Jakob Görris discovered his passion for music and playing the drums at a young age. In 2019, he began his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. There he received lessons from Prof. Michael Küttner, Prof. Jonas Burgwinkel and Prof. Robert Landfermann. Jakob also studied for two semesters at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa with Bruno Pedroso, Nelson Cascais and Desidério Lázaro, among others.
These two environments have strongly influenced him and he is now combining these experiences for his bachelor concert. The concert will consist of two parts, with the first part representing the Cologne scene and focusing on improvisation and free playing. The second part will consist of musicians from the Lisbon scene. The focus will be on their own compositions and pieces that they have already played and shaped in this line-up in Lisbon.



The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8 pm CET - the LOFT will open at 7.30 pm CET.
Exceptiosn - eg on Sundays - are possible.
