Synopsis
In Turin, Alberto Sajevo has a chance encounter with Lisa Venturi, the woman who, twelve years earlier, tried to kill him in a terrorist attack. He recognises her immediately. She, however, has no idea who he is.Unnerved by the discovery, Alberto starts to plan seemingly casual encounters and the two start to see each other regularly. Lisa lives behind the facade of being an ordinary working girl. Alberto pretends to believe her, knowing full well Lisa returns every night to her prison cell where she is serving a 30 year sentence.
Thus begins a cruel game of cat and mouse, during which Alberto seeks the answer to the questions which have obsessed him for so many years. Perhaps there is no answer.
