Iveta Hylasova Bachmannová (Solo-Englischhornistin und Oboistin), geboren in Košice / Slowakei, studierte Oboe am Konservatorium in ihrer Heimatstadt bei Prof. Stefan Sklenka, setzte dann ihre Ausbildung an der Musikakademie Prag bei Ludmila Jezová fort und absolvierte Sommermusikkurse bei Maurice Borgue und Jean Louis Capezzali. Sie gewann mehrere hochrangige Wettbewerbe sowie den Preis des Tschechischen Musikfonds für die beste Interpretation zeitgenössischer Komposition. Erste Orchestererfahrungen sammelte sie im Gustav-Mahler-Jugendorchester, war Solo-Oboistin bei der Staatsphilharmonie Košice, Solo-Englischhornistin bei den Prager Symphonikern und arbeitete als 1. Oboistin der Prager Kammerphilharmonie.
Seit 2003 ist Iveta Hylasova Bachmannová Solo-Englischhornistin des Orchesters der Deutschen Oper Berlin. Solistische Auftritte bei namhaften tschechischen Orchestern und beim »Prager Frühling«, Konzerte mit dem Harmony Ensemble New York und den Kammersolisten der Deutschen Oper Berlin zeigen ebenso ihr Können wie mehrere CD-Einspielungen, darunter das Konzert für Flöte, Englischhorn und Orchester von Honegger unter Serge Baudo oder eine Solo-CD mit Musik für Englischhorn von Telemann, Haydn, Rejcha und anderen.
