Max Mannheimer (1920 - 2016) and Sr. Elija Boßler had a deep friendship for many years. They met regularly at the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site or in the neighboring monastery. For quite a few people, this relationship between „a Jew and s nun“ seemed to be odd. The filmmakers Maisel and Bernstein see an important message here that they want to document and pass on. The result of their efforts to understand this relationship is the film "Dachau Dialogues". It documents a unique Jewish-Christian dialogue, which portrays a groundbreaking friendship and takes us into an intensive engagement with current, universal, but also very personal questions.
