Die Stücke der Mainzer Bassistin und Komponistin Vroni Frisch laden ein auf eine stimmungsvolle Reise, bei der die Songs immer im Vordergrund stehen, sich aber auch überall hin entwickeln dürfen. Sie unternehmen manchmal Ausflüge zu klassischen und cineastisch anmutenden Klängen, und sind eine Essenz aus unterschiedlichen Einflüssen und Stilen mit Hang zur großen Geste, wobei die Spannung aus komponierten und improvisierten Elementen einen großen Teil des Live-Moments ausmacht.
Als gefragte Bass-Sidewoman in Jazz, Pop, Crossover und Komponistin für Bigband widmet sich Vroni nun der Quartett-Besetzung, in der sie ihre musikalischen Visionen mit lyrischen Melodien, spannenden Harmonien, filigranen Rhythmen und satten Grooves zum Ausdruck bringt. Dafür hat sie musikalische Wegbegleiter um sich und ihren 6-saitigen E-Bass versammelt und lässt mit ihnen zusammen dem Flow, der Spielfreude und den Magic Moments freien Lauf.

The pieces by Mainz-based bassist and composer Vroni Frisch invite you on an atmospheric journey in which the songs always take center stage, but are also allowed to develop in any direction. They sometimes venture into classical and cinematic-sounding territory and are an essence of different influences and styles with a penchant for grand gestures, whereby the tension between composed and improvised elements makes up a large part of the live moment.
As a sought-after bass sideman in jazz, pop, crossover, and composer for big bands, Vroni now devotes herself to the quartet lineup, in which she expresses her musical visions with lyrical melodies, exciting harmonies, filigree rhythms, and rich grooves. To this end, she has gathered musical companions around her and her 6-string electric bass and, together with them, gives free rein to the flow, the joy of playing, and the magic moments.



The concerts at the LOFT will generally start at around 8.00 pm CET - the LOFT will open at 7.30 pm CET.
Exceptions during wintertime - eg on Sundays - are possible.
