Nicht streng dogmatisch, aber als Grundsatz für das Quintett zu verstehen, stand die Idee Kompositionen zu entwickeln, die in einem begrenzten Rahmen viel Platz für Kommunikation zulassen würden. Keine Überinformation – die Kompositionen sollten die wichtigsten Bedingungen formulieren um improvisatorische Momente des Ensembles möglich zu machen – direkt und emotional. Die Quintett-Besetzung in der tradierten Form Tenorsaxophon, Trompete plus Klaviertrio ist eine Erklärung an den Jazz und kreiert einen Kontext der gleichzeitig Aufforderung ist, sich neu zu positionieren.

Not strictly dogmatic, but to be understood as a principle for the quintet, the idea was to develop compositions that would allow a lot of space for communication within a limited framework. No over-information – the compositions should formulate the most important conditions to make improvisational moments of the ensemble possible – direct and emotional. The quintet instrumentation in the traditional form of tenor saxophone, trumpet plus piano trio is a declaration to jazz and creates a context that is at the same time an invitation to reposition oneself.
