Das Aurealities Ensemble mit Improvisationen und Kompositionen von Lina Allemano, Christine Duncan, Matthias Mainz, Joe Sorbara und Chris Tonelli zu Gedichten des Soundsingers Paul Dutton.

Der kanadische Soundsinger und Lyriker Paul Dutton gehört zur Gründergeneration der Stimmperformer der 70er Jahre. Aus Anlass Kanadas als Gastland der Frankfurter Buchmesse 2020 entsteht entwarfen Joe Sorbara und Matthias Mainz ein Projekt mit fünf Uraufführungen und Improvisationen um Duttons Sound Poems mit Weggefährten und Nachfolgern Duttons in einem kanadisch-deutschen Oktett.

Canadian soundsinger and lyricist Paul Dutton is one of the founding generation of vocal performers of the 1970s. On the occasion of Canada being the guest country of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2020, Joe Sorbara and Matthias Mainz designed a project with five world premieres and improvisations around Dutton’s sound poems with companions and successors of Dutton in a Canadian-German octet. read less
