Synopsis

The tragic fate of a man in search of love. Schlöndorff´s film, based on May Frisch´s novel, tells the story of a man driven by a tangled set of circumstances into the arms of a young woman who resembles the beloved he abandoned in his youth. Tn the end he losses everything.
