Nina von Möllendorff studierte Gesang an der Hochschule der Künste in Berlin bei Karan Armstrong und schloß mit einem Diplom für Konzert/Musiktheater ab. Sie besuchte Meisterkurse bei Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Axel Bauni und Ingrid Bjoner und kompletierte ihre Studien bei Marianne Fischer-Kupfer und Peter Maus. 1998 war sie Stipendiatin der Bayreuther Festspiele und sang im Finale des »I cestelli Competitione dell opera« in der in der Deutschen Oper Berlin. Zu ihren Partien gehören die Gräfin aus »Le nozze di Figaro«, Pamina und Erste Dame in »Die Zauberflöte«, Marzelline in »Fidelio«, Servilia in »La Clemenza di Tito«, Micaela in »Carmen« und Suor Angelica in »Il Trittico«. In der Deutschen Oper Berlin sang sie 2002 »La bonne chanson« von Gabriel Fauré. Seit der Spielzeit 2000/01 ist sie Gast an der Komischen Oper Berlin und sang unter Kirill Petrenko, Yakov Kreizberg, Matthias Foremny, Michail und Vladimir Jurowski u. a. die Servilia in »Titus« (Regie: Harry Kupfer) und eine Zofe in Zemlinskys »Der Zwerg« (Regie: Andreas Homoki).
In der Spielzeit 2003/04 übernahm sie die Titelpartie Suor Angelica in Puccinis »Il Trittico« am Staatstheater Oldenburg. In der Spielzeit 2004/05 war sie Euridike in Offenbachs »Orpheus in der Unterwelt« im Schlosstheater des Neuen Palais Potsdam/Hans-Otto-Theater und Valencienne in »Die Lustige Witwe in Göttingen.
Konzertverpflichtungen führten die Sängerin in die Konzertsäle im In- und Ausland mit den Sopranpartien in den grossen Oratorien und sinfonischen Werken. Ein besonderes Anliegen ist ihr der Liedgesang. Liederabende in der Deutschen Oper Berlin und der Villa Wahnfried in Bayreuth zählen zu den Höhepunkten.
Nina von Möllendorf war an der Komischen Oper Berlin als Prinzessin Linetta in »Die Liebe zu drei Orangen«, Miss Wordsworth in »Albert Herring «, Königin in »Die Prinzessin auf der Erbse«, Barena in »Jenufa«, als Schlange Missgunst in »Der Reiter mit dem Wind im Haar« und als Fiordiligi in »Hip H´Opera – Così fan tutti« zu erleben.
In dieser Spielzeit singt sie die Ninetta und die Linetta in »Die Liebe zu drei Orangen«.

Nina von Möllendorff has studied singing at the Academy of Arts in Berlin with Karan Armstrong and has completed her studies with a diploma in concert/ music theatre. She has taken part in masterclasses with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Axel Bauni and Ingrid Bjoner. Since then, she has studied with Marianne Fischer-Kupfer and Peter Maus. In 1998 she was scholarship holder of the Bayreuth Festspiele and sang in the finale of the »I cestelli Competitione dell’ opera« at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Her roles include parts, such as Contessa in »Le nozze di Figaro«, Pamina and First Lady Dame in »The Magic Flute«, Marzelline in »Fidelio«, Servilia/»La Clemenza di Tito«, Micaela/»Carmen« and the title part of »Suor Angelica«. At the Deutsche Oper Berlin she sang in the chamber music series of the
2001/2002 season »La bonne chanson« by Gabriel Fauré. Since the 2000/01 season she is guest at the Komische Oper Berlin and sang here under the guidance of Vladimir Jurowski, Yakov Kreizberg and Matthias Foremny, amongst others, Servilia (»Titus«). In the 2003/04 season, she sang the title part in »Suor Angelica«, in the new production of Puccini's »Il Trittico« at the Oldenburg Staatstheater. In the 2004/05 season, she has appeared as Euridike in Offenbach's »Orpheus in der Unterwelt« at the Schlosstheater des Neuen Palais in Potsdam and as Valencienne in »The Merry Widow« in Göttingen. In the 2003/04 season she has given concerts, amongst others, with Mendelssohn's »Elias« and the »Te Deum« by Dvorák in the Berlin Philharmonic.
In 2005 she sang the part of Sophie Scholl in Udo Zimmermann's opera »Die Weisse Rose«, a special concert of the Komische Oper Berlin. On top of that, she has appeared in 2006 as Smeraldine in »The Love of three Oranges« and as Queen in »The Princess and the Pea«, a part, which she will portray as well in the 2006/07 season. In this season she will sing Ninetta and Linetta in »The Love of three Oranges«.
