An der Komischen Oper Berlin entwarf Jörg Koßdorff die Bühnenbilder zu den Konwitschny-Produktionen »Don Giovanni«, »Così fan tutte« und »Das Land des Lächelns«.

Born in Graz, Jörg Koßdorff has studied in his home town at the Technological University architecture. Already during his studies he has worked at the Vereinigte Bühnen. First he was employed as assistant to the technic direction and since 1967 he was also occupied as set designer. In 1978 he was appointed Representative Technic Director. In 1980 he finally took over the technic direction of the Graz Bühnen. Beside this activity, he works regularly as set designer in Graz and in Germany, for example in productions with Peter Konwitschny: »The Bartered Bride«, »Madame Butterfly«, »The Abduction from the Seraglio«, »Aida«, »La Bohème« and »Macbeth«.
At the Komische Oper Berlin Jörg Koßdorff designed the stage set for the Konwitschny-Productions »Don Giovanni«, »Così fan tutte« and »The land of smile«.
