Christoph Rosiny ist seit 1999 Leiter des Kinderstudios der Komischen Oper Berlin. Zu seinen Aufgaben gehören die musikalische Einstudierung des Kinderchores und Leitung der Kinderchorkonzerte. Dabei kommt ihm seine Erfahrung als Musiklehrer am Gymnasium und Chorsänger in den Extrachören der Komischen Oper Berlin und Deutschen Oper Berlin zugute.
An der Komischen Oper Berlin studierte er mit dem Kinderchor neben den Repertoireopern die Kinderopern »Der kleine Schornsteinfeger« (Benjamin Britten), »Der Reiter mit dem Wind im Haar« (Frank Schwemmer), »Die Prinzessin auf der Erbse« (Ernst Toch), »Pinocchio« (Pierangelo Valtinoni) und »Robin Hood« (Frank Schwemmer) ein.
Sein Einsatz für kindgerechtes und zeitgemäßes Musiktheater von Kindern für Kinder an der Komischen Oper Berlin äußert sich in der Spielzeit 2008/09 im Einsatz des Kinderchores in der Uraufführung von Frank Schwemmers Abenteueroper »Robin Hood« und der Wiederaufnahme der Kinderoper »Pinocchio«.

Christoph Rosiny is director of the Children's Studio of the Komische Oper Berlin since 1999. His duties include the musical rehearsal of the children's choir and the direction of the children's choir concerts.
For this, his experiences as music teacher at a secondary school and choir singer (bass) in the extra choirs of the Komische Oper Berlin and the Deutsche Oper Berlin are of benefit. As expert of «Klassik is' cool!», the youth programme of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, he prepares regularly children and teenagers from Berlin for their opera visit.
At the Komische Oper Berlin he has rehearsed with the children's choir the productions of »The Little Sweep«, the debut performance of Frank Schwemmer's children's opera »The Rider with the Wind in his Hair« and »The Princess and the Pea«. His commitment for an apt and contemporary music theatre from children for children at the Komische Oper Berlin finds expression in the 2006/07 season with the new production of the children's opera »Pinocchio«.
