Nach seinen erfolgreichen Konzerten auf dem BRÖtz 80! Festival, Peitz 58 Jazzfestival und dem Ruhr Jazzfestival 2021 stellt der Wuppertaler Saxophonist Hans Peter Hiby sein neues Quartett vor. Die explosive Musik dieses Quartetts entsteht durch spontanes Spiel und lässt sich sowohl von der amerikanischen als auch der eropäischen Tradition des Free Jazz und der freien Improvisation inspirieren. Es ist eine ineinanderfließende Kommunikation von konkreten Ideen, Risikobereitschaft, überraschende Entscheidungen, miteinander und gegeneinander.

After his successful concerts at the BRÖtz 80! Festival, Peitz 58 Jazzfestival and the Ruhr Jazzfestival 2021, Wuppertal saxophonist Hans Peter Hiby presents his new quartet. The explosive music of this quartet is created through spontaneous playing and draws inspiration from both the American and Eropean traditions of free jazz and free improvisation. It is an interflowing communication of concrete ideas, risk-taking, surprising decisions, with and against each other.
