Initiiert von Hans Martin Müller trat am 14. September 1991 im Rahmen der Aktion des Ehrenfelder Kunstvereins Tata West das Duo Frank Gratkowski und Paulo Álvares erstmals im LOFT auf, nachdem die Ausnahme Musiker im selben Jahr unabhängig voneinander den Silbernen und Goldenen Amadeus beim Wettbewerb Musik Kreativ gewonnen und dafür vorher ihre Bewerbungsaufnahmen im LOFT gemacht hatten.
Beide unterrichten seit langem Improvisation an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln und man darf gespannt sein, was sie sich nach so vielen Jahren musikalisch zu erzählen haben!

Initiated by Hans Martin Müller, the duo Frank Gratkowski and Paulo Álvares performed for the first time at the LOFT on 14th of September 1991 as part of the Ehrenfelder Kunstverein's "Tata West" campaign, after the exceptional musicians had independently won the Silver and Golden Amadeus at the Musik Kreativ competition in the same year and had previously made their application recordings for this at the LOFT.
Both have been teaching improvisation at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne for a long time and one can be curious what they have to tell each other musically after so many years!
