Ein Achromat ist eine Linse, die es möglich macht, alle Wellenlängen des einfallenden Lichts an einem Punkt zu bündeln. Die Mannheimer Band achromat versucht genau das mit verschiedenen Musikstilen: Modern Jazz, Indie, Progressive Rock und Pop werden durch die verschiedenen musikalischen Hintergründe der Bandmitglieder auf einen Punkt gebracht. Die Eigenkompositionen werden Live immer wieder frisch zusammengewürfelt, wobei jedes mal neue Farben und Sounds zum Vorschein kommen.

HINWEIS: Im Jahr 2024 starten die Konzerte im LOFT in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.
Ausnahmen (bis Ostern): Sonntags-Konzerte (Beginn: gegen 18 Uhr, soweit nicht anders angekündigt)

An achromat is a lens that makes it possible to focus all wavelengths of incident light at one point. The Mannheim-based band achromat tries to do just that with different styles of music: Modern jazz, indie, progressive rock and pop are brought to a point by the different musical backgrounds of the band members. The original compositions are constantly being thrown together live, with new colours and sounds emerging every time.
