Tobias N. Siebert beendete sein Studium der Produktion und Medienwirtschaft an der Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München mit Auszeichnung. Er ist Partner und Herstellungsleiter der BASISberlin Postproduktions GmbH, Partner und Geschäftsführer der Produktionsfirma BASISberlin Medien GmbH und arbeitet als freier Produzent und Berater.
Tobias N. Siebert produzierte in den letzten 10 Jahren zahlreiche TV Formate für arte, rbb, die ARD und andere Sender. In der Postproduktion betreute er mehr als 100 Kinofilme unter anderem Palermo Shooting von Wim Wenders (Cannes Wettbewerb), Alle Anderen von Maren Ade (Silberner Bär), Women Without Men von Shirin Neshat (Silberner Löwe) und Meteora von Spiros Stathoulopoulos (Berlinale Wettbewerb).
