Der Künstlerzwilling deufert +plischke lebt in Hamburg. Im Herbst 2007 gründeten beide dort die ‚Gemeinschaftspraxis e.V.‘. Seit 2001 entstanden die Bühnenstücke ‚As you like it‘ (2002), ‚Inexhaustible‘ (2003), ‚Sofia Sp – science is fiction‘ (2004), ‚As if (it was beautiful)‘ (2004), die Trilogie ‚Directories‘ (2003-6) sowie ‚Reportable Portraits‘ (2007). Ihre Theaterarbeit wird regelmäßig in Spielstätten und auf Festivals in Europa gezeigt. Als Künstlerzwilling unterrichten sie Komposition, Trainingsforschung und angewandte Dramaturgie an der Universität Hamburg sowie an europäischen Kunsthochschulen (u.a. DasArts Amsterdam, KhiB Bergen, P.A.R.T.S Brüssel, Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln). Im Jahr 2006 waren sie Gastprofessoren im Zentrum für Performance Studies der Universität Hamburg und im Jahr 2008 am Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. Im April 2009 hatte ihre Performance ‚Anarchiv: I am not a Zombie‘ auf Kampnagel in Hamburg Premiere. www.artistwin.de

The artistwin deufert +plischke lives in Hamburg. In fall 2007 they founded the ‘Gemeinschaftspraxis e.V.’. Since 2001 they have produced the stage plays ‘As you like it’ (2002), ‘Inexhaustible’ (2003), ‘Sofia Sp – science is fiction’ (2004), ‘As if (it was beautiful)’ (2004), the trilogy ‘Directories’ (2003-6), as well as ‘Reportable Portraits’ (2007), to name just a few. Their theatre pieces are regularly shown at venues and festivals throughout Europe. As artistwin, they teach composition, training research and applied dramaturgy at the University of Hamburg as well as at European art academies (among others, DasArts Amsterdam, KhiB Bergen, P.A.R.T.S Brüssel, Kunsthochschule für Medien Cologne). In 2006 they were visiting professors for performance studies at the Universität Hamburg, and in 2008 at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies of the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. The premiere of their performance ‘Anarchiv: I am not a Zombie’ took place at Kampnagel in Hamburg in April 2009. www.artistwin.de
