Die schottische Sopranistin Rosha Maura Fitzhowle gehört ab der Spielzeit 2022/23 zum Ensemble des Theaters Magdeburg, wo sie in ihrer ersten Saison die Partien Eurydike (Orpheus in der Unterwelt), Adina (L'elisir d'amore) und Ännchen (Der Freischutz) singen wird.
Zu ihren bisherigen Engagements in dieser Spielzeit zählen Gilbert und Sullivans Kate (Pirates of Penzance) an der Oper Wuppertal und am Staatstheater Nürnberg. In der Sommersaison 2021 tourte sie mit Music to go als Musetta (La Boheme) durch NRW. Seit 2019 singt Rosha im Ensemble des Theaters Aachen in den Rollen der Woglinde (Das Rheingold), Sophie (Werther) und Affe/Munchkin/Teetasse (Wizard of Oz), Giunone/Il Destino (La Calisto), Johanna (Sweeney Todd) und Volpino (Lo Speziale).
Die lyrische Koloratursopranistin aus Schottland schloss ihr Studium an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst mit 1.
Klasse an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, wo sie die Lucia (The Rape of Lucretia), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), 2nd Lady (Die Zauberflöte) und
Der Hahn (Das schlaue Füchslein - deutsch) sang.
Im Juni 2022 wird Rosha als Finalistin am 40. Internationalen Hans Gabor Belvedere Gesangswettbewerb teilnehmen. Im Jahr 2020 war Rosha Finalist beim 49. Bundeswettbewerb Gesang in der Deutschen Oper Berlin und 2021 beim 58. Tenor Viñas Contest im Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona. In den Jahren 2019 und 2020 erhielt Rosha das Jahresstipendium der Theaterinitiative Aachen Jahresstipendium und war 2019 Preisträgerin der Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg.
Rosha hat ein großes Interesse an moderner Musik und gastiert als Sängerin beim ART Ensemble NRW. Zu Roshas weiteren Engagements gehören La Princesse/La Bergére/La Pastourelle/La Chouette in L'enfant et Les Sortilèges und Despina in Cosi Fan Tutte, beide an der City Lit Opera, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro an der Hand Made Opera und die Erste Hexe in Dido and Aeneas an Ursulas Arrow und bei Opera Alumnus.
