Die japanische Mezzosopranistin Rina Hirayama wurde in Tokio geboren und sie absolvierte ihr Bachelostudium 2012 an der Tokyo University of the Arts .Nach dem Studium sang sie bei verschiedenen Konzerten in Japan. Seit Oktober 2017 studiert sie an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln bei Prof. Brigitte Lindner.

Seit Oktober 2017 studiert sie an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln bei Prof. Brigitte Lindner.
Sie sang Fidalma in D.Cimaros „Il matrimonio segreto“, Dorabella in Mozarts „Cosi fan tutte“, Rosina in Rossinis „Il Barbiere di Siviglia” in Tokio. In dieser Spielzeit ist sie Stipendiatin der TheaterInitiative Aachen und war hier u.a. als Curra in »La forza del destino«, Stéphano (»Roméo et Juliette«), als Part des Vocal Quartets in Bernsteins »A Quiet Place« und des Jazz Trios in »Trouble in Tahiti« sowie als Amelie in »La Grande-Duchesse de Gérolstein« zu sehen.
