Rebecca Pedersen hat diverse Wettbewerbe gewonnen, u. a. die Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, den Lucia-Albanese-Puccini-Wettbewerb und den 3. Preis beim Gerda-Lissner-Wettbewerb. Sie war Gewinnerin des George-London-Wettbewerbs und zweifache Gewinnerin des Utah Symphony Salute to Youth-Wettbewerbes. Ihre Studien absolvierte sie zunächst an der Brigham Young University (Bachelor), später an der Juilliard School (Master).
Ihr Bühnendebüt gab Rebecca Pedersen an der Juilliard School of Music in New York als Miss Jessel in Benjamin Brittens THE TURN OF THE SCREW im Jahr 2018, an der Utah Opera folgten AIDA sowie die Titelpartie in Puccinis TOSCA. Als Solistin auf dem Konzertpodium gastierte sie mit dem Orchester der Metropolitan Opera, dem New York City Symphony, dem Chicago Symphony und dem Utah Symphony.
Ab der Saison 2020/21 ist Rebecca Pedersen Stipendiatin der Opera Foundation New York an der Deutschen Oper Berlin und wird hier u. a. als 1. Dame / DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE, Anna / NABUCCO, Berta / IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA und Priesterin / AIDA in Erscheinung treten.
