Philip Theurer ist freischaffender Musiker, Schlagzeuger/Percussionist und Elektroniker. Er ist geboren und aufgewachsen in Berlin. Philip Theurer ist freischaffender Musiker, Schlagzeuger/Percussionist und Elektroniker. Er ist geboren und aufgewachsen in Berlin. Als Teenager begann er seine Karriere mit ersten Bands mit regelmäßigen Konzerten in Berlin. An der HMT Leipzig studierte er Jazz-Schlagzeug bei Prof. Heinrich Köbberling. Neben seinem Hauptprojekt „13 Year Cicada“, bei der mehrere Albumproduktionen, regelmäßige und zahlreiche internationale Tourneen, Festivals und Kollaborationen entstehen, ist er u. a. zu hören bei der Band „Rosa Shakur“. Dort ist er beteiligt an der Albumproduktion, Konzerten und Tourneen in Europa. Bei „Ark White“ und „Vanilla Secrets“ war er Teil von der VR/Musik-Multimedia Performance und war bei Auftritten z.B. beim AMAZE festival for games and playful media zu sehen. Als Solo-Performer ist er bei „Dreams about Girls“ von Katharina Haverich und als Musiker beim RambaZamba Theater in Berlin tätig.
