Nora Strömer wurde 1994 in Hamburg geboren und wuchs in Bremen auf, wo sie lange bei den Jungen Akteur:innen aktiv war. Von 2014 bis 2019 studierte sie an der Universität Hildesheim „Szenische Künste“. Davor und währenddessen machte sie langjährige Arbeitserfahrungen an deutschen Stadttheatern und freien Produktionshäusern, u.a. am Theater Bremen, den Münchner Kammerspiele und Kampnagel Hamburg. Im Rahmen ihres Studiums arbeitete sie mit ihren Freund:innen in kollektiven Kontexten und war Mitglied des Leitungsteams des „transeuropa fluid“ Festivals, das 2018 in Hildesheim stattfand. Seit 2019 arbeitet sie als Regieassistentin am Theater Bremen. Hier setzt sie seit Januar 2020 die Performance-Reihe “acting is re-acting” um, in der sie das Verhältnis zwischen ästhetischen (Aufführungs-)Ereignissen und den ihnen zugrunde liegenden Produktionsbedingungen untersucht.
