Vor der Kamera spielte er u. a. in "Kaliber Deluxe" von Thomas Roth, in "Der Totmacher" nach Romuald Karmakar, 1998 erhielt er den Darstellerpreis Baden-Baden für seine Leistung in "Der Skorpion" von Dominik Graf und wurde 2001 mit "Vergiss Amerika" von Vanessa Jopp für den Deutschen Filmpreis nominiert.
