Magdalena Makowska (Violine) wurde in Warszawa / Polen geboren. Dort studierte sie an der F. Magdalena Makowska (Violine) wurde in Warszawa / Polen geboren. Dort studierte sie an der F. Chopin Musikuniversität bei Miroslaw Lawrynowicz, bis sie 2006 ihr Studium an der Universität der Künste in Berlin bei Tomasz Tomaszewski und dem Artemis Quartett fortsetzte. Gleichzeitig absolvierte sie mit ihrem Streichquartett ein Studium an der European Chamber Music Academy, wo sie u. a. von Hatto Beyerle unterrichtet wurde. Sie ist Preisträgerin mehrerer Solo- und Kammermusikwettbewerben (u. a. in Kloster Schöntal, Takasaki und Weimar) und trat als Solistin in zahlreichen Ländern Europas, sowie in Japan und den USA auf.
Magdalena Makowska war in der Spielzeit 2007/08 Akademistin im Orchester der Deutschen Oper Berlin, zu dessen festem Mitglied sie zur Spielzeit 2010/11 wurde, seit 2018 als Vorspielerin in den 2. Violinen. Seit 2013 betreut sie, als Teil des Kammermusikteams, die Tischlereikonzerte in der Deutschen Oper Berlin.
