Kevin Sock ist seit 1998 an verschieden Theatern tätig. Seit 2007 als Meister für Veranstaltungstechnik / Fachrichtung Bühnen und Studiobeleuchtung. Von 2007-2010 als Technischer Leiter der Beleuchtungsabteilung am Schauspielhaus Hamburg, anschließend 2010 – 2014 Leiter der Beleuchtungsabteilung am Staatstheater Stuttgart. In den genannten Zeiträumen erstellte er Lichtdesigns u. a. für die Regisseure Sebastian Baumgarten, Jan Bosse, Nuran David Calis, Volker Lösch, Armin Petras, Rene Pollesch, Kevin Rittberger, Simon Solberg, Andres Veil, Daniel Wahl, Hasko Weber. Außerdem war er 2009 und 2011 als Lichtdesigner für die Veranstaltung „Henri Nannen Preis“ engagiert. Seit 2014 arbeitet er regelmäßig auch als freier Lichtdesigner, u. a. mit den Regisseuren Jan Bosse, Nuran David Calis, Christoph Frick, Anselm Dalphert, Frank Krug zusammen. Er realisierte Produktionen und lichttechnische Projekte für die Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, die Nibelungen Festspiele Worms, die Volksoper Wien, die Sophiensaele Berlin, das Theater Freiburg sowie die Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen.
