Katharina Hagopian studierte an der Hochschule für Musik Köln in der Gesangsklasse von Kai Wessel (Diplom Gesang und Gesangspädagogik 2010) und von 2007-2009 am Mannes College for Music in New York bei Amy Burton, welches sie mit dem Master of Music mit Auszeichnung abschloss. Katharina Hagopian studierte an der Hochschule für Musik Köln in der Gesangsklasse von Kai Wessel (Diplom Gesang und Gesangspädagogik 2010) und von 2007-2009 am Mannes College for Music in New York bei Amy Burton, welches sie mit dem Master of Music mit Auszeichnung abschloss. Sie besuchte mehrere Meisterkurse (u.a. bei Regina Resnik, Martina Arroyo, Edda Moser, Michael Hampe und Rudolf Piernay), erhielt diverse Stipendien (u.a. DAAD, Fulbright, Horst-und-Gretl-Will-Stiftung) und nahm erfolgreich an Wettbewerben teil (Bundeswettbewerb Gesang, 1. Preis beim EuriadeVokalConcours sowie 2. Preis des Kulturkreises der deutschen Wirtschaft 2010). Ihr weitgefächertes Repertoire umfasst Werke des Barock bis in die Moderne. Konzerte führten sie unter anderem zu zahlreichen Internationalen Festivals für Neue Musik, sowie zum Schumannfest Düsseldorf und in die Carnegie Hall. Auf der Opernbühne war sie als Mme Lidoine, Alice Ford, Rosalinde, Contessa Almaviva, Micaela, Ginevra und Pamina zu erleben, Einladungen zu Gastengagements erhielt sie vom Opernfestival Berbiguières und vom Theater Salzburg.
2010/2011 war sie am renommierten Internationalen Opernstudio Zürich und gehört seit der Spielzeit 2011/12 zum Ensemble des Theater Aachen.
