Judith Philipp studierte an der Universität der Künste Berlin Bühnenbild und entwirft seit 2007 Räume und Kostüme für Theater- und Opernproduktionen im In- und Ausland. Sie arbeitete unter anderem für das Lucerne Festival, das Theater Basel und die Oper in Saigon, hier an einem FREISCHÜTZ mit David Hermann. Ihr Bühnenbild für TRISTAN UND ISOLDE in einer Produktion für die Kinderoper der Bayreuther Festspiele wurde 2019 in Tokio beim Spring Festival wiederaufgenommen. Aktuell entsteht nach ihren Entwürfen ein Bühnenbild für Verdis LA TRAVIATA an der Nouvel Opera in Fribourg und am Nationaltheater Weimar wird sie 2025 das Bühnenbild für die ZAUBERFLÖTE gestalten. An der Deutschen Oper zeichnet sie für das Bühnen- und Kostümbild der Uraufführung von IMMMERMEEEHR verantwortlich.
