Seit der Spielzeit 2019/20 ist er auch Kapellmeister. Der 1991 in Belgien geborene Niederländer Jori Klomp ist Saxophonist, Sänger und Dirigent. 2013 schloss er sein Bachelor Diplom in klassischem Saxophon am Konservatorium Maastricht ab. Ein Jahr später folgte sein Bachelor in Sologesang und 2018 sein Master in Chorleitung an der Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht bei Rob Vermeulen.
Jori Klomp hat bereits mit 17 Jahren erste Konzerte dirigiert. Er arbeitet regelmäßig als Chordirektor am Opernhaus La Monnaie in Brüssel und an Opera Zuid in Maastricht. Seit 2020 ist er auch Leiter des belgischen Jugendnationalchores BEvocal und singt regelmäßig als Altus beim Vokalensemble Studium Chorale in Maastricht.
