He is currently Research Fellow with the Art Theory and Research and Art Practice and Development Research Group, Amsterdam School for the Arts and is doing his PhD at the University of Utrecht (working title: ‘Material political bodies. The role of proprioception and kinesthetics in subjectivity in dance since 1960s‘). He graduated in Communication Studies in 1985 at the University of Amsterdam and at the SNDO in 1990.
