Jan Duszynski studierte Komposition, Dirigat und Musiktheorie bei Stanislaw Moryto an der Musikakademie in Warschau und absolvierte Studienjahre an der Juilliard School of Music, New York. Er arbeitet als Konzertmusiker sowie für diverse Film- und Theaterproduktionen. Als Komponist arbeitete er bereits an allen Theatern und Opernhäusern in Polen und in Deutschland beispielsweise an der Bayrischen Staatsoper, den Münchner Kammerspielen und am Hebbel am Ufer, Berlin. Mit der Produktion DIE JUNGFRAU VON ORLEANS in der Regie von Ewelina Marciniak ist er zum Berliner Theatertreffen 2022 eingeladen. Mit Krzysztof Garbaczewski verbindet ihn eine langjährige Zusammenarbeit.
