Jan Bijvoet, geboren 1966, wurde am Studio Herman Teirlinck in Antwerpen als Schauspieler ausgebildet. Er ist Mitglied im Ensemble von Het Toneelhuis und spielte unter Percevals Regie u.a. in „Voor het Pensioen“, „Asem“, „L. King of Pain“ und „Het kouwe Kind“. Er arbeitete u.a. mit Tom Van Dyck, Jorgen Cassier, Gerardjan Rijnders und Jasper Brandis. Außerdem übernahm er die musikalische Gestaltung für mehrere Produktionen. Dieses Frühjahr produzierte er mit Blixa Bargeld die CD „Siesta“.
An der Schaubühne spielt er den Dani in Marius von Mayenburgs "Turista" (R: Luk Perceval).
