Er etablierte sich zunächst in seiner Heimat, seit 1994 ist er allerdings an Deutschen Bühnen engagiert. Nach Engagements in Hildesheim und Weimar verschlug es ihn 2002 an das Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach. Sein Opernrepertoire umfasst wichtige Partien seines Fachs, so etwa Leporello (“Don Giovanni”), Figaro („Figaros Hochzeit“), König Marke (“Tristan und Isolde”), Mephistopheles („Margarete“). Am Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach sang er u. a. Escamillo („Carmen”), Buonafede („ Die Welt auf dem Mond“), Landgraf Hermann in “Tannhäuser”, Sarastro in „Die Zauberflöte“, Kezal in „Verkaufte Braut“, Kaspar in „Der Freischütz“, die Titelpartie in “Don Pasquale”, Don Alfonso in „Così fan tutte“, Dulcamara in „Der Liebestrank“, Basil Basilowitsch in „Der Graf von Luxemburg, Mamma Agata in Donizettis „Viva la Mamma!“, Tomski in „Pique Dame“, Lord Syndham in „Zar und Zimmermann“ und Dankwart in „Die lustigen Nibelungen“.
