Geboren 1984 in Berlin. Sie studiert Szenografie und Ausstellungsdesign an der Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe u.a. bei Beatrix von Pilgrim, Penelope Wehrli und Anna Viebrock. Mit dem "Klangkollektiv Alter Fritz" entwickelt sie die Performance »Ein Gespenst«, die 2012 im gift_lab, design office for space + sound in Tokio Premiere hat und im selben Jahr bei den ARD Hörspieltagen gezeigt wird. Für ihre Diplominszenierung »lichtbewegt« erhält sie 2014 ein Förderstipendium der Stiftung LBBW und wird für den ZKM Förderpreis nominiert. Während des Studiums arbeitet sie als Bühnenbildassistentin am Schauspielhaus Zürich, bei lausundproductions sowie als Regieassistentin bei Anna Viebrock (»Unendlicher Spaß«, Hebbel am Ufer Berlin). 2013 entwirft sie den Raum für das Neue Stück 12 »von den beinen zu kurz« von Katja Brunner am Staatstheater Karlsruhe.
Seit der Spielzeit 2014/15 ist Hanna Lenz Assistentin für Bühne und Kostüm am Jungen SchauSpielHaus Hamburg und wird in der Spielzeit 2015/16 die Bühne zu »funny girl« in der Regie von Clara Weyde entwerfen.
