Günter Hans Wolf Lemke, geboren in Karlsburg bei Greifswald, züchtete nach seinem Abitur Kröten in einer Naturschutzstation. Nach einer Ausbildung zum Matrosen schloss er 2010 ein Studium in der Bühnenbildklasse der UdK Berlin an. Neben der Arbeit an Mappenstücken bei Prof. Hartmut Meyer, Frank Hänig, Thomas Regensburger und Dirk Thiele, assistierte er am Theater Anklam und am Hebbel am Ufer Berlin. Seit 2014 ist er Stipendiat der Künstler- und Designerförderung der Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes. Er entwarf eigene Bühnen- und Kostümbilder für das Musiktheaterkollektiv Lwowski-Kronfoth und den Regisseur Michael Höppner u. a. am HAU, der ADK Berlin, der Staatsoper Berlin und der Schwankhalle Bremen. Aktuell bereitet sich Lemke auf seine Masterarbeit im März 2016 in der Bühnenbildklasse der UdK Berlin bei Prof. Hartmut Meyer vor.
