Francesco Camuglia absolvierte seinen Bachelor bei Jim Walker am Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles und sein Master studium an der Musikhochschule Berlin bei Benoit Fromanger. Von 2014 bis 2016 war er Mitglied der Orchester-Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker und hatte danach einen Zeitvertrag als stellvertretender Solo-Flötist beim Staatstheater Kassel. 2017 war er regelmäßig als Gast-Soloflötist beim Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra engagiert und spielte u.a. mit dem Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, dem NDR Elbphilharmonie-Orchester, dem Norwegian Radio Orchestra und der Seattle Symphony. Er spielt regelmäßig bei den 14 Berliner Flötisten und hat als Gast bei Ensemble Berlin mitgewirkt. Camuglia ist Stipendiat des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes, der Yehudi Menuhin Stiftung »Live Music Now«, der Fulbright-
Kommission und der Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz.
