Evgeny A. Nikiforov studierte zunächst an der Fachschule für Kultur und Kunst in Miass / Russland. Evgeny A. Nikiforov studierte zunächst an der Fachschule für Kultur und Kunst in Miass / Russland. Im Jahr 2000 schloss er sein Studium mit Auszeichnung als Konzertpianist, Korrepetitor, Kammermusikpianist und Klavierpädagoge am Staatlichen Ural-Konservatorium „Mussorgskij“ in Jekaterinburg ab. Danach folgten das Konzertexamen (2004) und das Liedbegleitungsexamen (2006) an der Hochschule für Musik Köln.
Seit 2006 lebt und arbeitet der freiberufliche Pianist in Berlin und Umgebung als Klavierlehrer, Korrepetitor und Kammermusiker. Seit 2009 hat er einen Lehrauftrag an der Universität der Künste Berlin, wo er in den Gesangsklassen von Prof. J. Kaufmann, Prof. R. Gambill, Prof. G. Schnaut, Prof. C. Höhn, Prof. E. Werres, KS D. Schellenberger, KS M. Kaune, KS M. Brück, Prof. A. Pesendorfer, B. Niehoff und im szenischen Unterricht begleitet (hat). Außerdem ist er seit 2013 als Korrepetitor beim Internationalen Meisterkurs Oper Oder-Spree tätig, der jährlich im Sommer in Beeskow stattfindet.
