Eleftherios Veniadis, geboren auf der griechischen Insel Chios, studierte Musiktheorie sowie Schauspiel in Athen. Nach verschiedenen Engagements als Schauspieler kam er 2005 nach Deutschland, um Komposition zu studieren. Er schloss sein Kompositionsstudium bei Prof. Daniel Ott an der Universität der Künste Berlin mit Auszeichnung ab und studierte weiter an der Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden bei Prof. Manos Tsangaris. Er erhielt diverse Stipendien und Preise (Verband griechischer Komponisten, Patera-Stiftung, NaFöG-Berlin, 1. Opernpreis der Neuköllner Oper und Gasag) und seine Werke wurden auf verschiedenen Festivals (Klangwerkstatt Berlin, Randspiele Zepernick, Megaron Athen, Unerhörte Musik Berlin, Hellenic Festival Athen, Biennale New Talents Köln, Höyhentämö – Pluckhouse Helsinki Finland u.a.) zur Aufführung gebracht.
