is art mediator, freelance curator and author based in Hamburg. Since 1994 she has been dedicated to the artistic heritage of Anna Oppermann in reinstalling ensembles (curating, among others, the 2007 Anna Oppermann retrospective in the Württembergische Kunstverein Stuttgart). In 1997 she did her doctorate on Anna Oppermann’s ensemble art, 2001 project head of the model ‘transmedien’ at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg/Department of Visual Communication. 2007 visiting professor for art theory at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. Her main research and mediation focuses are on, among others: contemporary art, its production conditions, sites and forms of mediation, gender theories and performative theories, social and political demands and effects of contemporary art, transitions and boundaries of art and research, theory and practice.
