Danielle Schneider, geboren in Großenhain bei Dresden, absolvierte die Theaterhochschule „Hans Otto“ in Leipzig und gehörte zum Schauspielstudio des Nationaltheaters Weimar. Nach dem Studium wechselte sie 1999 ans Staatstheater Kassel, wo sie bis 2004 engagiert war. Seitdem arbeitet sie freiberuflich am KLEISTFORUM Frankfurt/Oder und in Berlin am MAXIM-GORKI-THEATER sowie am HAU.
