Claudia Zimmermann, geboren 1993 in Saarbrücken, begann ihre musikalische Laufbahn zunächst an der Geige, bevor sie im Alter von 14 Jahren zur Bratsche wechselte. Claudia Zimmermann, geboren 1993 in Saarbrücken, begann ihre musikalische Laufbahn zunächst an der Geige, bevor sie im Alter von 14 Jahren zur Bratsche wechselte. Seit 2013 studiert sie an der Hochschule für Musik Saar bei Frau Professor Jone Kaliunaite. 2015 studierte sie über das Erasmus Programm ein Jahr am Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance in London bei Richard Crabtree. Orchestererfahrung sammelte sie in vielen Jugend- und Studentenorchestern (wie den Landesjugendorchestern Baden- Württemberg und Bayern, der Jungen Deutschen Philharmonie und der Jungen Norddeutschen Philharmonie) und Aushilfen im Brandenburgischen Staatstheater Frankfurt Oder. Meisterkurse und weitere Unterrichte erhielt sie unter anderem von Tabea Zimmermann und Roland Glassl. Aktuell befindet sich Claudia Zimmermann im 8. Semester Bachelor an der HfM Saar und ist Mitglied im in Berlin ansässigen »Stegreif.orchester«.
