Christopher Johannes Scheuer studierte Komposition in Mannheim, sowie Musiktheorie in Mainz. Im Rahmen seiner kompositorischen Tätigkeit entstanden Auftragswerke für Theater und Festivals in Deutschland. Im Zentrum seiner Arbeit stehen dabei Live-Elektronik oder bewegungsgesteuerte Sensortechnik, Werke für Stimme sowie Tanz. Daneben gilt sein kompositorisches, wie akademisches Interesse der Beschäftigung mir der Innenseite des Klangs. Er unterrichtet Musiktheorie und Neue Musik an der HfM Mainz, Medienpraxis an der HfMdK Mannheim und Komposition am Konservatorium der Stadt Mainz. Am Theater Bremen verantwortete er die Live-Elektronik und die Sensortechnik bei Paul-Georg Dittrichs Musiktheaterabend „Ich bin Carmen“ nach Georges Bizet.
