Barbora Šulniute ist eine 1991 in Vilnius geborene Bildende Künstlerin sowie Bühnen- und Kostümbildnerin, die 2015 ihr Bachelor-Abschluss in Bühnenbild und 2025 ihren Master- Abschluss in Bildender Kunst an der Litauischen Kunstakademie abschloss. Seit ihrer ersten Theaterproduktion 2015 hat sie die Ausstattung für über zwanzig Produktionen an verschiedenen Bühnen in Litauen und Europa kreiert, darunter die Litauischen Nationaltheater in Vilnius und Kaunas sowie das Deutsche Theater Berlin, das Vaba Lava Theater in Tallinn (Estland), die Münchner Kammerspiele und das Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. Ihre künstlerische Arbeit umfasst Bühnen- und Kostümbild, visuelle Dramaturgie und Ausstellungsdesign. Seit 2018 arbeitet Barbora Šulniute kontinuierlich mit der Regisseurin Kamile Gudmonaite zusammen.
Ihr Bühnenbild für die Produktion 12 GRAMS TO THE NORTH wurde 2019 für den Theaterpreis „Golden Stage Cross“ nominiert; für ihre Ausstattung der Produktion IRANIAN CONFERENCE erhielt sie 2020 beim Dalios Tamuleviciutes Festival den Preis für das beste Bühnenbild.
