Der gebürtige Bielefelder Axel Goldbeck lebt seit 2008 in Marl-Polsum und ist freiberuflicher Komponist, Arrangeur und Musiker, hauptsächlich im Bereich Filmmusik und Theatermusik.Neben verschiedenen Bühnenmusiken entstanden in den Jahren 2003 und 2004 die Musiktheaterprojekte ""Perry Rhodan und die Erben des Universums"" sowie ""Die Eingeschlosssenen"" für das Theater Osnabrück, 2005 die Kammeroper ""Übü – Eine Opereske in zwei Akten"" nach Motiven von Alfred Jarry sowie 2006/2007 gemeinsam mit dem Musicalkomponisten Marc Schubring die Revue "" Rhythmus Berlin"" für den Friedrichstadtpalast Berlin.Nach Unterricht in elektronischer Orgel, Klavier und Orgel während der Schulzeit absolvierte Axel Goldbeck ein Studium sowie das Erste Staatsexamen an der Universität Osnabrück (Lehramt Musik und Geschichte, Instrumentalfächer Orgel, Posaune, Schlagzeug).Axel Goldbeck konzertierte als Pianist und Hammond-Organist mit Big Bands, Jazzcombos sowie Rock- und Popbands und beschäftigt sich seit 1994 sowohl praktisch wie theoretisch mit Filmmusik.Sein bisheriges Werk umfasst Stummfilm-Live-Produktionen in Osnabrück, Münster, Ulm, Bremen, Bielefeld (Film- und MusikFest), Deventer (NL) und Dudelange (L), Kompositionen und Produktionen von Filmmusik für Kurzfilme und die Realisation von Musikprojekten im eigenen Studio. Er arrangierte u.a. für das von ihm geleitete Filmmusikensemble DAS CINEMATOGRAFISCHE ORCHESTER, das Theater Osnabrück sowie die Bands GOTOOKAY, DREAMCATCHER und die Berliner Popsängerin Diane Weigmann.
