Ana Tasic studierte nach dem Abitur an der Schule für angewandte Kunst in Belgrad sowie Bühnenbild an den Kunstakademien von Belgrad und Düsseldorf (Bühnenbildklasse Prof. Karl Kneid). Bereits vor Abschluss ihres Studiums 2004 sammelte sie erste Erfahrungen mit eigenen Bühnen- und Kostümbildern in Belgrad sowie in einer Produktion der Robert Schumann Hochschule in Zusammenarbeit mit der Deutschen Oper am Rhein. Seit 2006 entstanden zahlreiche Ausstattungen in den Bereichen Oper, Schauspiel und Tanz für das Theater Bremen, das Theater Aalen, das Kölner Theater der Kelle, Theater Pforzheim und Theater Paderborn in Zusammenarbeit mit Regisseuren und Choreographen wie u.a. Jürgen Bosse, Katharina Kreuzhage, Ramona Suresh, Henrike Vahrmeyer oder James Sutherland.
