Das Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster ist Deutschlands einziges Picasso-Museum. Es beherbergt die weltweit umfangreichste Sammlung der Lithografien Pablo Picassos sowie weitere Picasso-Bestände in verschiedenen künstlerischen Techniken und aus unterschiedlichen Schaffensperioden. Große Werkkonvolute seiner künstlerischen Mitstreiter Georges Braque, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró und Henri Matisse gehören ferner zu den Schätzen des Museums.
In wechselnden Ausstellungen beleuchtet das Picasso-Museum das facettenreiche Werk des Spaniers, indem es sein grafisches Schaffen in Dialog zu Malerei und Skulptur stellt. Solchen Querbezügen gehen auch die seinen künstlerischen Weggefährten gewidmeten Ausstellungen im Münsteraner Museum nach. So ist es - ganz im Sinne seines Namenspatrons - ein Haus des beständigen Wechsels, das mehrfach im Jahr mit Sonderausstellungen lockt.
