Von 2005 bis 2009 gehörte sie zum Ensemble des Schauspiel Frankfurt. Dort arbeitete sie u. a. mit Wanda Golonka, Florian Fiedler, Karin Neuhäuser und Armin Petras zusammen, mit dessen Inszenierung »Gertrud« (nach dem Roman von Einar Schleef) sie 2008 zum Berliner Theatertreffen eingeladen wurde. Für die Darstellung der jungen Gertrud wurde sie bei der Kritikerumfrage von „Theater heute“ zur Nachwuchsschauspielerin des Jahres gewählt.
Von 2009 bis 2013 war sie Ensemblemitglied am Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, wo sie immer wieder mit Anna Bergmann, Sebastian Baumgarten, Jan Bosse, Antú Romero Nunes, Robert Borgmann und Armin Petras zusammenarbeitete.
Seit der Spielzeit 2013-14 gehört Anne Müller zum Ensemble des Deutschen SchauSpielHauses.
Neben ihrer Theaterarbeit ist sie regelmäßig für Film-und Fernsehproduktionen tätig.
