Viktorie Knotková studierte Theaterdramaturgie an der Janácek Akademie für Musik und Darstellende Künste in Brünn und am Max Reinhardt Seminar in Wien. Von 2009 bis 2012 folgte ein Festengagement als Dramaturgin am Prager Kammertheater unter der Leitung von Dušan David Parízek. Das Prager Kammertheater wurde mehrmals als Theater des Jahres in Tschechien ausgezeichnet. Am Theater Bremen war sie von 2012 bis 2018 fest als Schauspieldramaturgin engagiert. Hier arbeitete sie u. a. mit den Regisseur:innen Dušan David Parízek, Alize Zandwijk, Alexander Riemenschneider, Felix Rothenhäusler, Sebastian Kreyer und Frank Abt zusammen. Im Jahr 2018 war Viktorie Knotková Mitglied der Jury für Hörspielpreise der Deutschen Akademie der darstellenden Künste. Außerdem ist sie als Übersetzerin ins Tschechische tätig, arbeitet bei „globale – Festival für grenzüberschreitende Literatur“ in Bremen und ist Vorsitzende des Bremer Bündnis für deutsch-tschechische Zusammenarbeit. Zurzeit adaptiert sie den Roman „Orlando“ von Virginia Woolf zu einem Libretto für die Nationaloper in Brünn und moderiert für das Goethe-Institut in Prag die Diskursreihe „Terra Litera“ (u. a. mit Akin Emanuel Sipal, Max Czollek oder Dmitrij Kapitelman). Seit der Spielzeit 2021/22 ist sie als Leitende Dramaturgin am Zentrum für experimentelles Theater in Brünn, Tschechien, tätig.
