Für den Theaterdiscounter entwickelte er 2003 das Theater-Show-Format »Planet Porno«, das mittlerweile seine künstlerische Heimat im Hebbel am Ufer/HAU hat. Er inszenierte u.a. am Staatsschauspiel Dresden, den Münchner Kammerspielen, dem Schauspiel Köln. Zudem produzierte er zusammen mit dem DeutschlandradioKultur diverse Hörspiele.
Seine letzten Theater-Arbeiten entstanden u.a. am Hebbel-am-Ufer/HAU (2009 »Planet Porno – Die Finanzkrise«, 2012 »Katarakt/Brief an Deutschland« nach Rainald Goetz und Franz Josef Wagner), dem Theater Heidelberg (2009 »Deutschland Porno Total«) und dem Staatstheater Braunschweig (2011 »Prinzessinnendramen« von Elfriede Jelinek). Er war zdf.kulturpalast-Kritiker der 13. Kasseler documenta (2012).
